ART DECO / NOUVEAU BANKERS DESK LAMP & FOUNTAIN PEN Up for your bidding pleasure is this vintage Bronze colored Bankers Desk Lamp with original Fountain Pen. This vintage Lamp & Pen are both are in very good original condition with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. The socket & light are original and work great and the cord has been replaced. This wonderful old lamp features a base done in an Art Deco or Nouveau style. This base is bronze in color and quite heavy { unsure of material but a magnet will stick to it }. The front of the base has three wells, one long one for holding an extra pen or pencil. In back of this are two other small indentations that hold paper clips or other smaller items. T is a Fountain Pen with built in holder to the right side. The pen measures 7 3/4" long and the tip is marked; WEBSTER 14K . The on/off switch is the front and is marked with a capital letter {F}. T is a swivel under the shade which allows the shade to be tilted forward or backward. The shade { magnet will stick to it } also has the same bronze coloring on the outside and off white on the inside which is worn in various areas { see photos }. The surfaces to both base and shade are in very good vintage condition except for the above mentioned wear. The base of the lamp on the underside is marked in low relief; JOS. L. SHOEMAKER PHILA. PA. U.S.A. { see photo }. The lamp overall measures 11 1/2" tall to the top of the shade finial x 5 3/4" wide at the base. The shade measures 9 3/8" in diameter x 2 1/8" tall. This lamp will surely make a valued addition to your Art Deco or Nouveau home decor.[ GOOD LUCK IN YOUR BIDDING ] All items are sold as is as described to the best of my ability and packed for safe travel, Buyer must contact me within 3 days of end of auction and payment must be received within 10 days of auction or items will be relisted.
