ART DECO OAK SECRETARY BUREAU DESK W DISPLAY BOOKCASE Circa: 1920 Dimensions: 49" wide x 13" deep x 49" high Stock Number: N10-46 Approximate Weight: 45 lbs. This gorgeous Side By Side Secretaire Bookcase was made in England circa 1920. We purchased it in Oxford, England. The piece is made of Oak. It has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. This is an early Art Deco Side By Side Secretaire/Bookcase. It is in very good condition. The central Secretaire portion of the piece has a high scalloping Gallery at the center which has a softly curved edge along the top. In the center is a lovely Floral and Scrolling Foliage Pattern. The Secretaire has a Sloped Front which opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior which has been divided into four large and two Small Pigeon Holes. T is a small Drawer at the center. This area is perfect for organizing your mail and stationary. The work surface is covered in Emerald Green Leather. T are three Drawers below which allow additional storage room for paper work. These are embellished by stunningly beautiful, carved Oak Handles. Flanking the Central Secretaire are two Beautiful Bookcases. The Doors of the Bookcases are beautifully made.
