This is a wonderful and rare porcelain pierette half doll produced in the early 1900's in France. She is holding a mandolin and measures a total length of 9 inches tall. T are two seperate pieces, the actual half doll (measures 3 inches) and then the legs, with cushion in between. She is all hand painted and has a gorgeous face with smokey eyes. Displays beautifully, but does have some damage. She was broken off at her ankles and repaired, you can still see a bit of tiny nicks. T is also a teeny tiny nic on the very end of her one finger (almost don't see it, but can feel it) and the very end of the mandolin is broken. No other damage and she is wearing what looks like the original dress, that is in excellent condition. Very art deco French in design, stunning! ~Please take a look at my other antiques listed on auction this week, I am happy to combine shipping and take great care in packing! Thank you!
