Art Deco Rhinestone Buckle Necklace & Bracelet, Rhodium
Gorgeous Art Deco necklace and bracelet. Superior workmanship and design with a fringed buckle theme. Necklace measures fourteen inches to the center buckle made of aquamarine colored baguettes through which five strands of clear chatons ending with a aquamarine colored baguette, tipped with a pear shaped clear rhinestone. From fold over clasp adorned with three rhinestones for a little over four inches a blue baguette alternates with three clear chantons, then there are two strands with the same pattern down to the buckle. The strands that go through the buckle add another two and one half inches. The total length of the bracelet is ten inches with a buckle made with blue baguettes and tipped with a clear pear shaped rhinestone on one end. The other end goes through the buckle and snaps on one of two snaps making the bracelet adjustable from about six and one half inches to about seven and one quarter inches. After the bracelet is fastened a delicate safety chain insures that the end stays through the buckle. The band of the bracelet has five rows. The two outside rows are clear chatons then a row of blue baguettes on both sides and one more row of clear chatons in the center. I believe the back is rhodium plated, the silver color is intensely shiny, smooth and rich. I have not seen a set like this in any books or online, but it is Deco stunning! Condition is exceptional with no damage, no dark or missing stones and not a hint of green anywhere! The set is unmarked but must have been made by a skilled jewelry artisan.
