ART DECO PERIOD CARVED WOODEN FRAME - with original silver gilt finish and probably original glass. Frame is circa 1920 - 1930's. Notice the corners on the frame - the carved designs line up at each corner - almost as though the carving was done after the frame was assembled. On many frames, the carved designs do not line up on the corners - on this one the corner designs match. Frame is in good original condition - only problem, it is missing the easel on the back cardboard to stand the frame on a table. You would need to hang the frame. Good carving on the outside edge. Finish is in good condition, with hardly any chips. Nice soft sheen to the silver gilt finish. Corners are good - no wiggle. Measurements: Opening size is 8 inches by 10 inches - size for a standard photo. Outer measurements are 8 ¾ ½ inches by 10 ¾ inches. Weighs just over a pound before any packing materials. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that have some age to them. Naturally t will be irregularities and flaws, just because of the age.
