Up for your bidding pleasure is this wonderful 71 piece Art Deco flatware set. Set includes 12 dinner knives, 11 dinner forks, 11 teaspoons, 6 ice teaspoons, 8 soup spoons, 2 sm. serving spoons, 3 lg. serving spoons, 6 butter knives, and 12 salad forks. This beautiful set was acquired from an estate in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It shows very little use(if any) with no gross scratching or mars. I believe much of the pieces have never been used. Very minimal tarnishing, I did not attempt to do any cleaning to this set. I will leave that up to the buyer. The back reads two different things 1) Tudor Plate Oneida Community 2) Wm Rogers & Son AA I S. However, it is all the same pattern. Very clean lines and Art Deco in style. This set comes in it's original wood box, which measures 11" x 18 1/2" x 3 3/4". The box is a lighter wood perhaps maple and is accented with hunter green lines which are both on the top lid and the front side. Unfortunately t is a crack in the top of the lid however this does not interfere with the functionality of the box. The inside is lined with cream satin and orange felt. T are three foil labels which read: 1) A Service of Sterling Inlaid 2) Holmes & Edwards Inlaid Something More Than Plate I S The Mark of Quality 3)Prevent Tarnish Container I S Approved by International Silver Co. Due to limitations of the number of pictures that can be added I was unable to include individual pictures of each item. However, be assure that they are all in wonderful condition and do include a total of 71 pieces. Don't let this great set get away. Happy bidding and please check out my other items.
