If you have any questions about this item or buy it now option, you can contact me via email at Superb large Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel jewellery box, fully hallmarked for London 1930.This is a stunning silver jewellery box made by Richard Comyns in London 1930. The box is rectangular in shape with canted curved corners. It has straight sides and stands on four feet. The lid of the box has magnificent blue guilloche enamel with swirling leaves to the front, back and sides. The box is hinged and the inside has it's original material lining to the base. The lining inside the lid is missing. The box is large. It is 7 inches / 178 mm wide and 3-3/4 inches / 96 mm deep. It stands 3 inches / 76 mm high and weighs a huge 527 grams - so well over half a kilo. The side of the box has clear hallmarks - lion passant, London mark, letter p for 1930 and maker's mark RC for Richard Comyns. The box is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair. The lining is original and needs to be restored. I accept payment via Paypal as well as personal cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank.
