For auction here is a large, art deco style, necklace pendant in sterling silver and hard blue enamel by David Andersen of Oslo, Norway. The mark dates from after 1925. It measures 2 1/2" tall and is about 1 9/16" in diameter. In the center is mounted a large rectangular faceted stone over the concave, blue enamelled recess. (The stone may be rock crystal. The stone was thought by a dealer to be white sapphire, but it has not been tested. Pleased bid accordingly.) Clearly marked on the reverse. Excellent original condition. No damage to the stone or enamel. A very lovely piece. Offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting bid. Buyer to pay priority post and ins.
