ART DECO Vintage ROYAL ALBERT China HAND PAINTED Trio FLORAL Wedding SPRING Victorian and Vintage This is a gorgeous china trio that was crafted by Royal Albert in the 1930's. The set is white in colour and is decorated with an array of vibrantly coloured hand painted flowers in shades of purple, yellow and orange with green foliage. The flowers afford a considerable coverage over each piece of the set. This design is very rarely seen now. The cup is beautifully shaped with an elegant handle; the shape is known as 'Malvern'. The rims of all pieces are gently curved and finished with fine gold trims. The set would look especially good in a vintage, country cottage or shabby chic setting and would serve well at a vintage wedding or tea party!!! I ALSO HAVE MATCHING ITEMS ON OFFER!!! A stunning vintage Art Deco Royal Albert tea trio!!! Dimensions - The cup measures just short of 3" (7 cm) deep and 3.6" (9 cm) wide. The saucer measures 5.6" (14 cm) wide. The plate measures 6.6" (16.5 cm). Markings - The base of each piece bears the makers backstamp; this mark was used between 1931 - 1935. Condition - The set is in great condition - there are no cracks, chips or crazing. The colours are still clear and vibrant and the gold trims are also in good condition.
