A beautiful Westclox Andover clock in good condition. This classy art deco design was made between 1938-1942. The blue plate of glass, in back, is perfect - no scratches or chips. The clear piece of glass in the front has a chip at the very bottom that you can see in the pictures, but is clean and unscratched. Also, I believe that the hands have been repainted. The case is nickel-plated and the works are contained in a dark blue metal back. It is in excellent working condition and keeps good time, though it is not self-starting - you simply turn the top knob in back clockwise to get it started. It runs very quietly, just a soft hum. It still has its original cord that seems to be fine - no exposed wires or cracking. In the final picture close-up, the specs that you see are the dust behind the glass - I'm leaving the cleaning of this to the buyer. I will take the utmost care in packaging this to protect it from damage.
