Purchased from the artist C.Wright (?) in the summer of 1982 or 83 for $650.00 at either the Park West or Old Town Art Fair in Chicago, this exceptional hand blown vase stands 6-1/2" tall with a maximum diameter of 5-1/4" and weighs a massive 4 lbs. 13.6 ozs. Seen from the underside the bluish/white color in the shape of a five pointed star swirls upward within a transparent purplish background. It has a classic ginger jar shape and is in mint condition. It is signed and dated on the bottom (photo#4). I think it reads C. Wright. I would greatly appreciate anyone who recognizes the artist or can tell me anything more to contact me through the "ask a question" link at the bottom of this listing.
