Art Metal Works - Ronson Lighter - De-Light Standard Search These rare Ronson Standards were first manufactured in 1928. These De-Light Models were made during the early days, when Ronson had a monopoly on these automatic lighters. For more information regarding this vintage lighter please refer to figure 14 in “Ronson The World’s Greatest Lighter” by Urban Cummings. If you have not yet picked up this informative book, you should do so. This wonderful lighter has what looks like a brown reptile skin band. The monogram shield has been professionally inscribed at the Ronson Factory with the initials G.F.M., in what looks like Old French Script .
