antique circa 1920 ART DECO footed tea tile, trivet Description: antique circa 1920 Art deco footed tea tile, trivet Art DECO, hot plate / trivet, to protect the table from heat damage. A rare, very decorative, footed tile, printed under glaze and colored in over glaze enamels, (5 colors). Made in Belgium, circa 1900, by the famous tile makers; Hemixem I have two other interesting tiles listed . Condition : Two stress cracks, especially visible to the back, slightly visible to the front. These cracks could be firing cracks from the fabrication process.
