You are bidding on a ... Antique Art Nouveau HUGE Alexandrite 14k Solid Yellow Gold Ring. Handmade setting. The alexandrite is synthetic (of course, if it were natural it would be worth over $50,000). The reason we know it is synthetic is because there is no green color change and the size, synthetic usually isn't this large either. It is a stunning piece and highly desired! Alexandrite measures (approx)15 mm diameter x 8 mm deep = 12 carats approx., there are excellent color changes of blue, purple, violet, many different hues - the color is deep and gorgeous as well. I just can't put into words how beautiful this piece is and the pictures don't do it justice. It belonged to my customers grandmothers, mother. Size 8.5 Marked: 14k Total weight: 6.9 grams.
