Very stylish Art Nouveau cast bronze photo frame, c.1900, quite large at 9 1/2" high by 7 1/2" wide: accommodates a 6" x 4" photograph. There is an artist's or maker's monogram (see final photo) which I cannot make out, but the generally Secessionist style with stylised roses suggests that it is probably Austrian. In good condition, with retaining clips and hinged prop all working well. The original gilded finish is worn, which gives a pleasantly aged patina, but the remaining gilding could be polished off if a polished bronze finish is preferred.
