Beautiful Art Nouveau Hand Painted Portrait Vase, artist signed, by Royal Bonn Germany. This is a beautiful Art Nouveau portrait vase that is rather rare in size standing an amazing 12" tall and is 7" wide from handle to handle. Most are much smaller. This vase has incredible detail and is very well done. It is artist signed just under the maidens hand on left side, as shown in photo #4. The back side is a landscape painting which travels around to the front where the young woman sits gazing off. The colors are superb and the vase is in excellent condition. No chips, dings or nicks. No repairs. There is some crazing to the glaze due to age, but only visible with magnification. The style and design of the vase is truly Art Nouveau. This is a wonderful vase and a great example of the quality porcelain produced by Royal Bonn, which is the name of the pottery factory operated by Franz Anton Mehlem in Bonn Germany between 1836 and 1931. The factory was purchased by Villeroy and Boch in 1921. This piece is marked as shown in last two photos with several of the Bonn factory marks.
