This is a Beautiful Antique ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA Large VASE / Centerpiece. That same mermaid has some wear and flaking on the very tip of her tail fin (the upper tail fin) The lobster on the back of the vase has perhaps the largest areas of damage, as it is missing both of its front claws...see images... T is gold/gilding that is worn on the seafoam and on other areas of the vase...,and t are a few (very few) areas w the points of the 'seafom' are dinged/chiped.... though in general, the points and details of the 'sea foam' seem to be in very good condition... t are several small 'manufacturing drying lines' that are found throughout the intricate details on this vase....--these were formed during the manufacturing, and are not 'damage' cracks. --see close image with the fish in a net, just below the lowest fish is an example of one of these manufacturing flaws... T is an area on the upper edge of the vase, just to the right of the crab, and above the mermaid on the right side of the vase.... I have taken a close image of this as it appears to be a rather large manufacturing 'drying' crack, and it appears as though it was filled a bit in the past...please see close image... of this area... --T is no 'hairline' radiating from this area, or any other indication such as dings/flakes in the porcelain around it that would indicate it is an impact or damage split...-tfore we believe it is a manufacturing crack in the porcelain, that was filled with some material sometime in the past...--please see images... This item is marked on the bottom with the ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA E in an Acorn mark, which dates this item to 1900-1918. This item is a large vase, and will need to be well packaged for shipping....--- the final box size will be larger than is allowed to ship to SOME International countries....- --Many Inernational countries I will have no trouble shipping this to, (though it will be QUITE COSTLY)---- PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR to bidding to Check with me to see if I CAN Ship this to your Country, and Get a Shipping QUOTE From me....
