I don't know how to properly describe this incredibly unique MINIATURE SILVER OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE in the ART NOUVEAU STYLE. All those descriptions don't really do this justice. It was almost tossed out as I was cleaning in the attic of this 1743 Farmhouse we are restoring. Then the famous little felt TIFFANY bag caught my eye. I'm a transplanted New Yorker and I wasn't born this old - yes I did get a few gifts from that magnificent store in "my day" and I immediately recognized the TIFFANY bag. Upon looking inside I found this beautiful little PERFUME BOTTLE first wrapped in a small red felt bag and then stuffed within the TIFFANY bag. Now I don't want to mislead you because "in my day" all TIFFANY pieces had the name TIFFANY engraved somew and I cannot find it on this PERFUME BOTTLE. Please look at all the pictures and you will see on the reverse side of the little bottle is a stamp. It's faded but you can easily still make out PARIS, FRANCE but not the next word which is probably the name. All that I can definitely make out is an A . This precious little bottle measure 1 1/2" to the top of the stopper and a bit over 1" across.
