A beautiful, fully hallmarked, solid sterling silver bonbon dish dating to the Art Nouveau period and having a makers mark which is rather rubbed but having three other large and very clear hallmarks consisting of the sterling silver lion passant mark, the leopards head for the London assay office, a date letter of "q" for the year 1911 (see photo). The bowl is in perfect condition with a few speckled markings on the bowl which I guess will probably polish out and having a pair of lovely handles on the side and beautifully pierced sides also. The overall measurements are approx. 3.25" diameter plus the handles and 1.5" high. It is a good heavy weight for its size at approx 86.3 grams. A stunning piece. PLEASE NOTE: All the items I am listing today on Ebay (please do view my other items also), will have a low start price of just £0.99 GBP and have no reserves and no But It Now price - so good luck with the bids. UK postage, packing including insurance £ 6.00. Europe postage, packing including insurance £ 10.00. USA/Canada/Australia/Japan postage, packing including insurance £ 11.00.
