HELLO. Ok, we go:) I will start off by saying i dont know too much about silver or silver plate or hallmarks for that matter, these two pieces i inted from my grandmother. i can tell you t are completely art nouveau from about 1890 to 1920, also i know that the tall one is a surgar shaker, and the other i believe is for salt? now the sizes are, 8.75 inches tall for the shaker, and 5 inches tall for the salt. now for the description, as you can see from all the pictures, the shaker is in a nautical theme, on top it has a boy riding a sea bass or dolphin, and he is holding a trident, the top portion is very detalied, and it flows into the base, with a clam shell detail, to a clam shell base. Now the salt is the same theme, the top portion is a clam shell with the stem being a large sea bass, or dolphin, which leads to the base ,also with a clam shell, and a boy riding on top with a trident.t is also the original glass insert for the salt, and is shaped like a clam also, with no damage to the glass. now what its made of? as you can see in the pictures, the bottom and the inside of the salt, seem to be sterling silver, and the rest silver plate? but not sure, could be a combination of both? now for the marks, as you can see, the stamped hallmark, looks like a candleabra, with a circle around it, and it is stamped england on both pieces.
