Welcome to a wonderful vintage Tiffany offering. These picture frames do not come around very often and this one is out of family estate. This is a very large, authentic and original Tiffany favrile glass, bronze picture or photo frame. It is GORGEOUS! It is signed Tiffany , New York , number 916 and above that number is 2074. It is circa 1900, a turn of the century piece. This amazing frame measures 14 3/8 inches long by 12 1/4 inches wide. It is made of bronze. It has a gorgeous patina. It is the grapevine pattern. I hope you can see it well in my photos. I took photos of the frame both with light coming through from behind and without. When the light comes through t are lighter shades of green and even amber to yellow. This art frame has a solid stand attached to the back. You can see it stands perfectly. The lighter green paper under the glass has a scuff as you can also see in the photos. The photo stuck to it from age when removed before it was stored I can only assume. That lighter green background paper is completely original to the frame. The paper is not flat but has a pucker design to it throughout. The entire frame and its components are 100% original. The clear glass that would cover the photo has a small chip in the lower left hand corner, must be mentioned, but you really don't notice it or focus on it with the design of this frame. In other words the point on the corner of the original glass is gone. On the back t is a hairline below that corner but the glass does not move at all. You can stand it up and carry it around without issue. Overall it is in really nice 100+ year old condition. You can see how gorgeous it looks on display and it is sturdy. It's a rare item and looks wonderful on any piece of furniture. It has a subtle, romantic beauty and at the same time is a very bold Nouveau work of art. This is not to be missed for the Tiffany lover or collector. This is guaranteed authentic, signed, numbered and 100% original, all parts as was, are present!!!!!! That may be a first! Will be packed like Fort Knox . SHIPPING: Your item will go Priority Mail or FedEx 3-day if you prefer. You MUST take insurance, it's required, no exceptions. If t is a PO snafu or damage it will be covered. I cannot be responsible once it is properly packaged and shipped. Ships to US only. Payment must be made within 7 days via Paypal, money order or Cashier's check. I reserve the right to relist the item after 7 days for non payment. Non paying bidders will be reported accordingly.
