Full Color 244-pages 9"x11" Recently discovered art work Had limited release at Tokyo MoMA from Aug. 15th to Sept. 24th, 2006 Very hard to find! Don't hesitate! Contains recently discovered artwork which had previously been unaccounted for at Chiba University in Tokyo. These Disney lost artworks were featured at the Tokyo Museum of Modern Art from August 15th through September 24th of 2006. This book was only available for purchase for a short period of time to visitors of the museum in Tokyo, Japan. The rare drawings , sketches, backgrounds, and storyboard artwork preproduction predating some of Disney's most beloved movies, including Pinocchio, Snow White, Peter Pan, Fantasia, Bambi, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp , and others are showcased in The Art of Disney. Even concept art for Disneyland is included! Both Japanese and English captions for the pictures. This remarkable collection of masterpieces is an inspiring addition to any artist, Disney lover, art lover, or book collector's personal collection. A must-have for true Disney aficionados.
