Really beautiful, original, vintage color photo prints of the Grand Canyon and surrounding sites like "Cathedral Rock". Each color photo is framed in a shadow-box along with what, I'm assuming, is indigenous natural material from the area, (stones, feathers, etc.). In a couple of cases the materials have fallen off, and are probably inside the enclosed frame (please see photo of lightning over the Grand Canyon) but, for the most part, they are still firmly affixed to the matte. The pictures were framed sometime bewtween 1979 and 1990. The company that made the frames, FrameMica, was established in 1979 and changed its name to FrameAmerica in 1990. These are real photos, not litho printed, and each is signed by the photographer in gold, indelible pen; I just can't figure out the signature. The smallest is about 12" x 10" (framed) and the largest is appproximately 18" x 16" (framed). A couple of the frames have a few, light, scratches in the lamination, but are otherwise in good, vintage condition.
