I am selling a lifetime collection of treasures for my Mom to assist in her caregiver expenses (she will be 95 in November!). Included in her items are crystal, jewelry, dolls, antique china, furs, needlepoint, and an assortment of many other items she collected over the years . . . all in mint or almost mint condition (not surprising, as she has always been a most fastidious person - many things lived in display cabinets, storage boxes or individual jewelry boxes). Some things will be new and others very gently used. is the largest crystal piece in her collection . . . a gorgeous, heavy, basket type bowl totally made of perfectly clear crystal by a french company that produced crystal only during the period 1950 - 1970. It carried the mark Art Vannes France before evolving into DeSevres, and later, Daum. This large piece has a very clear acid etched mark centered on the bottom of the bowl. The bowl's design is eight open petals that are all made of heavy looped crystal that center themselves at the bottom of the bowl creating a basket that looks like a single flower . . . this makes a truly stunning centerpiece! My mom used to fill it with bright glass ball ornaments during the holidays and ornamental fruit or silk flowers the rest of the year . . . have fun doing your own special treatment!!! MEASUREMENTS: 15" in diameter x 4-7/8" tall x 3-1/4" base. WEIGHT: 6 lbs. MATERIAL: Clear crystal. AGE: 1960s. CONDITION: Excellent - no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs.
