Few fans or artists, for that matter, can help but admire his highly illustrative and fun style. Plus his wonderful story-telling, brought to life with each and every rendering is only achieved by a rarefied pool of master craftsmen. Is t any other reason he remains a fan favorite? All that and a hell of a nice guy too! So, why do they have Arthur continue to do covers? Um, well, maybe its because he's so darned popular with the fans? Or maybe because he's one of the best artists t is? More than fair assessments, IMO. Arthur's mastery continues even unto the presenting the power and rage of the most formidable gods in the universe. The layout, the depth and the line work - uh, huh! Hercules and Ares rage seems to just jump off the page! Only the provence of a master craftsman can such dynamics be captured.
