Charles W. Brown was a recognized metalist by the Society of Arts & Crafts who worked at Arthur Stone's shop from 1912 to 1937. He's listed as a spoonmaker. You'll notice that this spoon he made is absolutely exquisite. The floral piercing and chasing is what we believe was called "Berry in Calyx" design.Measures 6" overall with the bowl of the spoon being 1 1/2" x 2". Could have been a berry spoon, or a soup spoon.
