Arthur Wood & Son Cottage And Garden Teapot, number 6447. Beautiful white footed teapot, picture of an old English cottage, thatch roof, flower gardens, a woman holding a basket and a border of colorful flowers surrounding the sides and bottom, pink and yellow roses, yellow honeysuckle, bluebells, blue dianthus, pink and blue columbine. Stunning teapot has a ribbed body, stands 7 inches tall to top of lid handle, 10 inches from spout to handle and is trimmed in gold. Signed on the bottom, Arthur Wood & Son, Staffordshire, England, est' 1884, 6447. This lovely Arthur Wood & Son teapot is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. The teapot looks like it has never been used, it is perfect for serving tea or to display.
