This is an amazing footed crystal bowl. It is artist signed, the name appears to be Fran or Fray Gray. I have had trouble making the name out. It is of a beautiful nude woman laying in a bed of leaves. It is deeply etched-I would consider it cut and then etched, if that makes any sense. It stands 5" tall and the opening is 8" across. It is very heavy. Two of the feet have slight flaking which is acceptable and you do not notice unless you turn it over and really look. I have added two pictures to show that the flake is no bigger than a grain of rice. The piece is wonderful. The original owner received this as a gift in the 1940's. I am helping her son liquidate her estate. I have not been able to identify the company. It reminds me of Lalique or Cambridge. I am stumped, but it is signed by the artist. I can not be certain since t isn't another name on the piece. I would appreciate any knowledgeable browsers to offer information. Since we were uncertain of the maker, we started the price very low. I do believe this is worth quite a bit more than the starting bid. I do guarantee the piece not to be one of the many reproductions listed on Ebay. If you are not happy you can return it.
