This is a TYPED/SIGNED letter by Artist TED DE GRAZIA. It is Dated December 12, 1939. The Art Digest, 116 East 59th Street, New York, N.Y. Dear Sir: I have been a reader of your professional Art Magazine for sometime. Recently I completed a canvas oil painting, 30x40 inches, which shows the figures of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, and Hirolieto on horseback. Their horses are galloping on the round ball, which represents the earth, and this earth is surrounded by flames and canopied with a black sky. I have called it "The Four Horsemen Ride Again". Since it deals with timely conditions, I thought you might know someone to whom you can refer the picture or refer me. As I am an amateur, I would be gald to give it to someone who might care to reproduce it in color. I enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope to facilitate your reply. Included with this letter is a 3"x4" black & white photo of "The Four Horsemen Ride Again". The letter seems to be add to another piece of paper the same color.
