You are bidding on an estate-fresh chandelier in the Arts and Crafts style. The chandelier and green slag glass shades are in excellent condition. The chandelier diameter is 20 inches from point of shade to point of shade. The distance from the top finial to the bottom of the shades is 18 inches. With the 12 inches of chain presently on the chandelier, the total drop is 20 inches. The brass on the body of the chandelier is untouched. The patina is original. The three arms are cast brass with a bank of flowers w the arm attaches to the body of the chandelier. The shades are green and white slag glass which, when lit, light up with a lot of gold flashes. The shade dimensions are 5 inches square and 4 inches deep. As previously stated, the shades are in excellent condition. T are no rim chips and no fitter chips. The glass is smooth on the inside of the shade and has a granite texture on the exterior of the shades. The shades are not ground on the rims. The shades can be individually turned on and off by a turnkey placed in each shade holder. The turnkey is brown-black bakelite with the letter "F" surrounded by a circle. The shade holder itself is reminiscent of shade holders in Handel chandeliers and harp lamps. The chandelier has been rewired at some time in the past. Everything is original and in tip top condition. Shipping weight is 13 pounds from zip 33609 to you. This chandelier would look great over a dining table or in a hall of a Craftsman or Bungalow style home. When lit the chandelier evokes a great sense of serenity. Enjoy.
