This is a beautiful arts & crafts style oak writing desk with seven drawers. One drawer in center, two on each side, and two on top of the desk( one on either side). This is what really makes this desk stand out. I have owned it for about three years and it always gets a compliment. The wood grain is really beautiful, and the desk is very heavy and substantial in size, but doesn't weigh down the room due to its design.
Desk is in excellent condition for its age, but it is a antique and does have a few dings and scratches and t Nothing major I promise. T is a slight scratch on the front bottom left side drawer(wood sheen would cover this) and a couple of dark spots on the top surface that may be part of the grain, I can't tell. (Plainly seen in pic). 36 inches tall to highest point, 24 inches deep, and 47 inches wide. It's bigger than it looks. Overall an awesome desk, and I'm asking much less than I paid for it--I'm tying to open a small business and am sacrificing some things I never thought I'd get rid of in order to get open before the 4th of July. Well worth the drive! Pick up only, located near Clarksburg, WV. 150 miles south of Pittsburg. Willing to meet you within one hundred miles or so for 50 cents per mile. Thank you! Notice I have lowered the start bid for all you watchers!! This really is an awesome desk--did I mention how heavy it is? Nice piece, I promise. I should also mention that t are 5 antique malls within a 20 mile radius of this place, some great bed&breakfasts, and a great golf resort (Stonewall Resort, Roanoke WV--not Virginia, WV) See info at . Weston is also home to the American Glass Museum. I would be happy to give directions!
