Overall measurements are 18 1/4" by 18 1/4". Shade part measures 18 1/4" long by 6" deep by 5" high. I found this heavy lamp, which looks like made of bronze but could be copper, at a rural town in southeastern Indiana, I picked it up a couple of years ago, and finally got around posting it. It had a thick layer of dark dust on it and I tried to clean some of it off very softly, just making sure the excess dust came off, I made sure to use the softest grid of steel wool. T are only a couple of patina spots I did not dare to rub any harder and take off, I let the winning bidder deal with that, I do not want to damage at all, and want to keep it as intact as possible. The only spot that may not come off with ordinary cleaning is on top of the shade portion shown on picture, it was left after I carefully removed a long attached piece of a paper sticker, and that spot must have been caused by the glue on the sticker. Also, note that the lamp still has old wiring and lighting fixtures attached dating to 1912 and 1928, but it is also electrified with a newer wire, but they did not hook it up in a way that the front push down on and off button works, the button does not function, so you may have to re-wire it. Also, under the shade t is only one functioning light bulb fixture but by the looks, it seems to me that t is a hook up for a second lighting fixture. Still, this lamp is in excellent yet original condition, super sturdy, and no dents nor breaks of any kind, winning bidder simply has to work on cleaning it and on the patina. Looks like the entire lamp is made of the same material, which I guess to be bronze or some type of cast iron. Very heavy, so keep that in mind when taking into consideration my shipping charges, plus it must go in an oversize box to ship safely. Crazy low starting bid, I'm cleaning up in preparation for retirement and simply want "stuff" out of my garage, I will let the winning bidder set the price.
