Up for auction is a nice peice from "Ruth" a artist who worked from the California Faience, in Berkeley, California. This is a nicely molded figure of a peasant women, possibly made in the 1930's. She stands about 7 1/2" tall and is near MINT condition with a small amount of crazing on the back of her dress. Please note that I do combine shipping with muliple combined auctions. Please let me know if you plan on bidding on another of my auctions and I am more than happy to combine shipping at a lower cost. To us, MINT means that t are no signs of use or post-production damage. We will mention any obvious flaws or damage but expect the collector to be aware that most methods of production were not as advanced as they are now and items were sometimes less than perfect when they were made. To us that adds to the charm and authenticity of the item. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS, Please ask condition questions before bidding. Often times pottery items were never marked in-mold or the maker had a paper label. If either of these are not present Identification for all pottery items will be made from references books. This auction is a "no risk" auction. Meaning if you don't like your item upon receipt please mail it back within 14 days and I will refund your money less shipping charges. NOTE: I DO NOT GIVE PARTIAL REFUNDS. . So please ask questions BEFORE making your decision to bid. I generally take about two weeks to pack and ship after I receive payment, due to my work schedule. Generally this means that you may receive your item within four weeks. THANK YOU!
