Offered for a 7-Day, NO RESERVE auction are these 2 beautiful, guaranteed original, antique cast brass (I believe) arts & crafts period candlesticks. I have actually owned one set of Jarvie prototypes in the past, and these two are almost identical forms. If you love the work of Robert Riddle Jarvie and/or the arts & crafts period, then take a close look at this matched pair of candlesticks. Oh how great they'd look in your collection and/or bungalow. These two unsigned, arts & crafts period cast bronze candlesticks stand a full 11.25" tall. The top candle openings are appx. 1 & 1/8" in diameter (inner) and appx. 1.75" in diameter at the outside edge. The thick, ribbed bases are 4 & 3/8" in diameter. These two candlesticks come apart in two places - the top section and the base - and are very solid, heavy pieces. The craftsmanship is truly exceptional and the old patina has a great glow to it. And lastly, they ring like bells when tapped lightly as all quality cast brass does. Finally, these matched candlesticks are in excellent original condition . T are a few bumps and small nicks to the edges, but absolutely nothing of great consequence , just some old useage marks. I have look closely at the base of these 2 sticks and can find no marks or numbers that might assist in identification. But do they ever have "the look"... Remember, this is a 7-Day, NO RESERVE auction, so get your best bid in early to win! I accept money orders, personal checks and PayPal, but will wait for PayPal and checks to fully clear my bank (usually 2-7 days) before packing and shipping out any merchandise. The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping and full insurance through the USPS's Priority Mail Service with Delivery Confirmation added.
