This gorgeous arts and crafts era pottery bowl is of Haeger origin, but sports a beautiful Fulper type drip glaze in blue tones. I was told many years ago when I purchased this piece that J. Martin Stangl left the Fulper Pottery in 1914 and worked for Haeger until 1919. He assisted Haeger in developing a line of commercial florist ware. No doubt bringing glaze recipes with him. This piece is possibly from that era and influence. This information can be verified in Lucile Henzke's ART POTTERY OF AMERICA. Bowl has a wonderful TECO style arcitectural form and measures 3 3/8" high with a diameter of 6 1/8". HAEGER mark within diamond impression on bottom. No chips, cracks or crazing. Three tiny kiln tripod marks on bottom. Few hard to see superficial scratches on inside of bowl. Overall in EXCELLENT condition.
