Pinecone Souvenir Spoon See my other auctions this week -- I am clearing inventory to get ready for the new year and many auctions have a starting bid of 99 cents with NO reserve. T will be wonderful Taxco and American hand wrought sterling silver and American Art Pottery at incredibly low prices! Description: Cool sterling silver souvenir spoon -- over 100 years old! Has a great Arts & Crafts pinecone decoration at the top and along the handle. Neat design in relief in the bowl that shows a road with large pine trees and designated as "Cathedral Drive Lakewood N.J." The spoon is engraved on the back with the date "1900". An exquisite and neat piece of historical silver. History : Souvenirspoons have been collected for many, many years. They were generallypurchased to commemorate a life event, person, or historical occasion of some sort. Hallmarks : Sterling Size : 4" long Condition : Very good condition -- looks to be hand worked.
