This is a solid oak picture frame from the Arts and Crafts period. It has rounded corners and exposed, slightly raised dowels (eight) and measures 41.5 cms x 48.5 cms around the outside while the inner measurements are 28.5 cms x (just under) 36 cms. There are a few marks and some shallow indentations along the top edge and a small stain (2.5 cms in length) on the bottom edge. A small piece of the top inner left corner is coming away from the rest of the frame but is still in situ and could easily and invisibly be glued into position. The original back (not photographed) is included. It is in two pieces. There is no glass. The wooden beading which originally held the picture in place on the back is missing on three sides. The oak appears to be quarter sawn and has a nice medium colour. Please note that I am listing a very similar frame - same timber, same construction and same height but narrower. Postage for the two will be the same as for postage for one. Thank you for looking
