Rookwood Pottery was and is the all time favorite of American art pottery. The letter (Z) which is placed on the under side of the base indicates the period of time (1900-1904) when Rookwood introduced their matte green glazes. This is a rare and highly desireable Rookwood line sought after by collectors. This vase was made in 1902. It is approximately 8 inches tall and is in mint condition. It has a few color misses that add character to its form and impart an "organic" effect. It has just enough "swirl" design around the body to give the piece interest and a clean "modern" look as well. I do not have a reserve so you can have fun bidding. I accept paypal and money orders (shipped shortly upon receipt). I also accept checks (10 business days before shipping). I ship double boxed with peanuts and bubble wrap via USPS priority mail with full insurance and delivery confirmation.
