This meter will appeal to the photography enthusiast who takes a pride in ensuring the optimum exposure, particularly when working with conventional film cameras, possibly using the zone system. This highly acclaimed meter allows precise metering of key areas in the scene to establish the desired exposure. It features a pentaprism viewfinder that provides a clear bright view of the scene. In the centre is a circle designating the spot metered zone (equivalent to 1 degree field). When the metering button is pressed the moving needle display indicates the Exposure Value from EV 1-19 on a simple easy to read scale which is superimposed in the viewfinder. The eyepiece has dioptre correction (0 to - Dioptre) ensuring the scale is sharply focussed. There's also a lamp to illuminate the lower portion of the EV scale in low light allowing the meter to be used in very low light.
