I just purchased many high quality items from a multiple estate auction and will be listing many at a low minimum with No Reserve! This is a very large antique center compote bowl from Ashberry Pewter in excellent condition with a great patina. I can't confirm the age but I would say late 1800's to early 1900's. The quality of craftsmanship in obvious and rare in this condition. Hammered base, pedestal, and bowl, with 3 Greek/Roman style urn/vase supports. T is an oak leaf ring design around the base, a smooth1/2" ring on the rim, and a deco design in the middle of the bowl. No breaks, bends, or dents that I can see. T is one tiny indent on the smooth rim ring and a couple tiny dings on the edge which are barely visible and to small to photograph but mentioned for accuracy. This impressive piece measures 6-1/4" tall, 10" across the bowl (8-1/2" dia. rim), on a 7-1/2" diameter base, and weighs over 3-1/2 lbs. The urns are about 2-1/2" tall.
