You are bidding on a RARE Ashton-Drake "RAPUNZEL" Handcrafted PorcelainDoll Designed by artist Brigitte Deval in an exclusive edition for the Ashton-DrakeGalleries. Rapunzel is an original issue in the limited Fairy Tale Princessescollection. This 1996 RAPUNZEL stands 18" tall and comes in her original box with original authentication documents, including Certificate of Authenticity numbered 5118FA,Photo, Story Pamphlet and arm tag (see pictures). Also, picture #7 shows the "signature"of authenticity on the back of the doll's neck. As stated in the Certificate of Authenticity; " The edition of "Rapunzel" ends forever on December 31, 2000, at which time molds for this doll will be broken and no more porcelain will ever be seen."Rapunzel is a regal figure with her glorious blonde locks that spill over her jade taffetagown adorned with golden threads. On her head she wears a cap laden with "pearls" and "diamonds" and on her feet are beautiful black shoes with golden buckles.She has Porcelain head, hands and feet.This doll is pre-owned, paper in box is torn, but doll and box are in exceptionallygood condition.
