NO RESERVE!!!The 1998 Ashton Drake "Diana,Princess of Wales" in "Royal Portrait". This RARE NRFB (never removed from box) portrait doll is designed by artist Titus Tomescu in an exclusive edition for the Ashton- Drake Galleries, and is limited to a North American edition of 5,000. She is numbered on her certificate FA 3114/5000 . She is dressed in a tailored in emerald-green satin, with a deep collar over small capped sleeves, and buttons down the fitted drop wait bodice. the full skirt has a drapped effect, with the fabric ruched and gatd below the hip, then drawn up into a bustle effect at the back. She comes complete with pamphlet and certificate of Authenticity (COA).

The real gown was at the 1997 Christie's auction and brought a price of $27, 500.

The "Royal Portrait" gown was inspired by diana's original and includes coordinated jewelry and matching emerald evening bag with painted on emerald green shoes. She wears faux pearl drop earrings and the Queen Mary Tiara on top of her short blonde hair. Her eyes are NOT painted they look real and she has painted as well as real eyelashes.

The box is is good shape. The tissue has a couple of rips as seen in the 2nd picture. No damage to the doll.ALL SALES FINAL. I try to describe everything as honestly as possible.
