When it comes to Cigar Humidors, there are a few magical names, but none is more celebrated than Manning. Please do not confuse this humidor with the Ashton Savoy line, or any other lower-priced model. Owning a presentation quality Manning humidor is to own a treasure. This is an investment-grade desktop piece, crafted from Brazilian Mahogany. It can take as many as 26 weeks to craft one of these humidors, and the result of this kind of commitment is evident. This is what prompted Robb Report to call Ashton by Manning humidors " The best of the best ", and Millionaire Magazine to call them " The Rolls-Royce of humidors ". New, as aficionados know, this solid Mahogany model, lined in the best grade of Spanish Cedar, retails for around $1100 . I am offering this model for a fraction of the price. Purchased in 2007, I used this for a year on my desk, but do not need it any longer. It's time for someone else to admire and benefit from it. There has been one repair: the thin handle on the left side of the lift-out top tray broke, and was glued. It is solid now, but the repair line is evident. All cigar lovers smile when they see " Capacity - x number of cigars " on advertisements; a humidor may hold 60 smaller cigars but only 35 Churchill-sized cigars. So it is with this masterpiece; I once had 55 Corona-sized cigars within this humidor, but cigars of large bandwidth change the capacity numbers. Perhaps this will help you: interior dimensions are 10-5/8" across by 8" front-to-back, with a depth of 3". The tray has interior dimensions of 9-7/8" across by 7-1/4". This is the ultimate executive desktop furniture for those who have made it. Utterly impressive in a quiet, understated way.
