This would make a beautiful addition to anyones home or office , Hand painted on silk backed on paper Asian Scroll.The item was purchased from a Merchant Marines estate, written on scroll label is, I think the date he purchased the scroll in "Tai Pei Tai Wan R.O.G. as March 5 1987. Gene Yewan " I think is the artist name or possibly whom he bought it from. The title is "Summertime Fishing on a Mountain Lake" I have included pictures of the label on the edge of the scroll.
This item is in great conditions the colors are bright and vivid it is a beautiful work of art. I have enjoyed it for a couple of years and am now willing to part with the item, for someone else to enjoy, so here goes!!!
Up for bids!! this Asian Art Mountain landscape hand done bordered with a beautiful silk material of gold & white flowers. The overall size of the scroll is 69 1/2 inches long by 21 1/2 inches wide. the picture itself painted on silk material is approx 42" x 17 "
I have included 12 pictures of everything I think is important if you have questions email me I will try to answer asap. The picture appears to be very old but I do not know how old it is, all I do know is the date I think the Merchant Marine bought it as March 5,1987 and he was buying old Asian scrolls some date back to the 1800.s when he was buying this scroll so it could go back that far, but it is in great condition with no discolor or tears in the scroll at all.
