2 Assorted Antique Chinese Silk Embroidery Single Sleeve Panels / Sleeve Cuffs.From a local estate of Chinese antiques.1) Off White Silk with very fine Black embroidered Tancho Crane,Rooster, Pine Tree, Flower Plants & Qilin / Kirin or Deer?Bordered with a Vintage Brocade Trim.Stapled & Glued to a cardboard back (it was in a broken frame).Exact age of the cuff unknown, I would guess mid to late 19th century.Total size approx. 24.3" x 8.9"Size of embroidered area approx. 18.5" x 3"Good to Fair condition with age wear, discolorations & stains .1) Pearl White silk with very fine Forbidden Stitch embroidered Flowers,Trees, Plants, Bird, Butterfly & Insect.Bordered with a Black trim.The back is Tan Raw Silk.Exact age unknown, I would guess late 19th century or so.Total size approx. 20.2" x 5.3"Size of embroidered area approx. 17.5" x 3.3"Fair condition with a little discoloration & a hole near the top (see pictures 9 & 12).Please view my other items.
