This listing is for a chrome Astatic JT-30 microphone, favoured by harmonica playersI had this mic custom made for me by DirtyDan'sMics about 3 years ago. DirtyDan is a highly regarded mic restorer amongst harmonica players and fellow customisers alike. He sourced the mic in the US and set about giving it an overhaul, adding a rare MC-151 element from his private stash and completely rewiring it. Dan also added a volume control pot that is very handy for adjusting your output on stage rather than having to adjust your amp. The chrome shell is also quite rare and fetches large amounts at auctions and online. The mic is in perfect working order and has been well looked after, only being gigged twice and spending the rest of its time in my home studio. I'll also chuck in a free 5/8" screw-on adaptor for plugging a guitar jack straight in to the mic.It's very hard for me to part with this mic but for various reasons I'm having to sell and think it will be put to better use by someone else.
