ASTER GAUGE 1 LIVE STEAM MODEL LOCOMOTIVE ‘BR 86’ 2-8-2 (BAUREIHE 86) Item Description : Up forauction is a Gauge 1 Live Steam Model Locomotive by Aster Hobby Co. The make and model of the live steam locomotive is a ‘BR 86’ 2-8-2 tank locomotive (scale of 1/32). The color of the model locomotive is still in its original factory paint from Aster Hobby Co. of both light gray and black. The model tank locomotive was manufactured in 1987, and this model is number 94 of 620 total models manufactured and produced. Included with the locomotive comes a complete set of assembly illustrations and operating instructions. Also included are four small bags of screws and nuts, a pair of operating and assembly gloves, and 3 small screw drivers and one wrench for assembly and maintenance. Item Condition: The gauge 1 live steam locomotive model itself is in near mint condition. The locomotive model has never been attempted to run and operate with its boiler. For the past 22 years the model has been primarily stored in its original factory storage box, but it has been professionally displayed in an enclosed glass display case for several months at a time. There are absolutely no scratches, dings, or bent pieces on the model locomotive itself.
