Up for bid is an rare Athearn HO scale, Streamlined Vista Dome passenger car. This car is new in it’s original box detailed with the Union Pacific Railroad colors and markings. Manufactured exclusively by Athearn for the Union Pacific Employees Club to commemorate their 2008 convention in San Antonio, Texas. Tastefully marked by Athearn on both the box and the car with the Union Pacific Employees Club Logo. Being one of just 200 units made for the Union Pacific Employees Club and the only Streamlined Vista Dome passenger cars made by Athearn with the Union Pacific Railroad colors and details, this is a rare find for the collector.
