IMMACULATE Condition for age!! Incised markings on bottom of Bowl: Athena by Virgil Calif USA. Transferware Roses in AS NEW Condition! No scratches or missing areas. This is the real deal ! Bowl is 15 inches in diameter and 4 inches deep. Covered inside and out with transfer ROSES!! Pitcher is 12 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Lots of ROSES , too! Fancy base. See photos!! Age related crazing is present, as would be expected for a piece of this advanced age. One of the crazing marks has darkened for approximately 2 inches on the inside of the bowl, causing the appearance of a hairline crack, but upon close inspection this does not appear to be deeper than the glaze. I'm not an expert, I'll admit; however, that is what this looks like to me. It is the ONLY sign of wear or damage that I can find on this ENTIRE pair!! You just don't find these very often in this incredible condition!! IT IS AMAZING!! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS SET!! Thank you for bidding on my auction!
