It is time to clean my basement after 30 years of collecting. I bought this mutoscope in Atlantic City. I am sure it came off one of the piers. I remember seeing these in the Stepple Chase pier. Who knows? It is marked International Mutoscope Reel Co. NY It has been repainted, but the black could use some touching up. It is missing a lock from the side door. I think it originally may have been battery operated for the light. It look as if a hole was drilled in the back for electricity. The bulb works off a plug in transformer included. The reel is in good condition, it shows an artist with a model. She never drops her clothes and show her smoking, very risque for the times. You must put a nickel in for it to work and it works perfectly. I will answer any questions, t is no reserve and I feel the starting price is very fair. It weighs about 25lb and I will ship it by ups insured.
